I already have a Roku on one TV, and another box on the 2nd TV, but I can get so many free old movies with Roku, I decided to get the stick and then it can go with me when I travel. With the other device I can get a lot of major channels, but no Amazon. Also, I am enjoying the "Old Movie" channels that Roku carries. Now if I could just get my iTunes movies on Roku, it would be perfect. I do miss the earphones on the stick's remote.
I brought it a month ago after my daughter kept begging me to get it because she was tired of watching Netflix on her phone. It has been a great investment and the set up was super simple.
I bought this product and the first one had to be taken back to the store because it was faulty and this second one can connect to the channels but then loses contact and returns to its' home screen after a few minutes. I guess I have just been unlucky because I know others who have really enjoyed Roku.
I bought this product a month ago. So far it has worked well for me. The only problem I keep having is the remote. A lot of times it will not connect so that I can change the channel. I have changed the batteries out several times. It could be me buying cheap batteries... LOL. Overall, it's a pretty good product.
Really great for someone who only has Internet instead of cable. The only thing is if you don't have cable it won't let you watch certain episodes, but that may have more to do with the cable company. Pretty cheap too!
