I'm very pleased with my purchase of the ROKU stick. I can watch British and foreign series to my hearts content and will eventually do away with my satellite connection.

easy but has a flaws

I have a Roku 2, a Roku stick, and a Roku 3. The Roku 2 is great just outdated. The Roku 3 is pretty much perfect.
The Roku stick although has only one flaw that we keep going through.
Every once in awhile the sound just stops working. Sometimes after a quick reset it fixes the problem. Only once have I had to do a hard reset, but haven't had a problem since. I would rate this 5 stars if the sound wasn't an issue.

Great addition to Apple TV

Easy to set up and customize. One of the connections is a little loose (maybe it's the chord?), but with a little reinforcement, it was back to normal.

Works great, nice features, good product. Why is Roku forcing me to write more than I want to in this box? This is just wrong. I was 9 characters too short.

Poor Connectivity with Remote

I hAve already replaced one after 2 months of use due to remote connection failure. You can download several different apps on your smartphone, but the roku and the smartphone have to be connected to the same Wifi, so if you have to reset your Roku for any reason and the Wifi disconnects, you will have to use the remote to reconnect again. Other than this complaint I enjoy the system and it's features. I can access apps the my SmarTV can't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stick is not up to par

I had no problems initially with the Roku stick. It worked for about a month and then began restarting over and over. I followed the troubleshooting online and it still has issues. I talked with Tech support and they said it was too far from my Wi-Fi. It is maybe 80 feet from the router. I can't use it and it's very frustrating. I have a Roku 3 and love it, but the stick is a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
