I bought the roku stick in August for my birthday because I was told that it's great. Well at first it was but the remote keeps getting out of sync with the stick....I really wish it didn't do that. I also wish it had the "Er" TV series.....anyways other than my remote issue its a pretty good little roku stick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I own two of these and they both overheat. For some reason the stick is the only ones I have a problem with. They freeze too.

I live in the mountains and don't have a lot of entertainment choices ... thanks to Roku and I have lots to watch...so glad I bought it!

My Girlfriend loves this thing and useses it quite often , loves how you can change the Theme and loves that there are so many channels to choose from.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to set up

I bought this about a month ago. It was easy to set up and I thought it would be great, but the remote would lock up and I would I have to take batteries out and replace them to get it to work. I returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great...except

I own a couple Rokus but this is the only stick. I tried it in two tbsp and the challenge was the location of the HDMI port. In the wall mounted tv there was not enough space to plug in the stick since the the the stick would be laying perpendicular to the tv and it would bend the stick. On the other tv where the port was horizontal, it worked better but the pressure from the power cable pulled in it and it eventually stopped working. As a side note, Roku replaced it free of charge. Great customer service.

Great Gadget

I love being able to access my internet viewable shows/movies on my TV or mobile device. Occasionally, I do have to reset the Roku to reestablish the connection or fix a little glitch. Totally worth the price though.
