I bought this a month ago and we've had our problems with it. Freezing , needing to shut of and restart. The remote has went through battery's like crazy, will stop working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great, but some issues

Several years ago I had bought a Roku 2. It was great and it is still doing great. So I wanted to add another TV on Roku in the house, so I bought the Streaming Stick. It didn't work on my other TV because the TV was wall mounted and the TV attached the HDMI cables towards the wall instead of with the wall. It wouldn't fit. But I just moved the old one to this TV and used the streaming stick on the current TV. They both work fine!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the Roku streaming stick about a month ago and have had a great experience using it. It is very user friendly and portable.

I love how you can just plug it into your tv and you are ready to go. Netflix interface is great. Just takes a lil time to load

Love it except for remote problems

I love having the Roku hdmi stick. It is small and can go with you when you travel. Wish there were more channels with good shows that are free with no subscription. The only problem is with the remote. It intermittently works. I kept thinking oh the batteries must be dead, but I put new batteries in and it still has problems. Sometimes I have to remove the batteries and put them back in to get it to work.

I bought it for my daughter 8th birthday last month cause I have one in my room and she would stay in the my bedroom all the time so I got her one and she was so excited about it when she open it at her birthday party she love it more than any present she got and now she in her bedroom watching Netflix and I have my bedroom back! We both love it!
