Great stick

I bought a NetTV/netgear, it didn't work. I became sceptical of these devises. But when I bought the Roku stick, it worked great. No comparison. I love the ROKA Stick.

Bought this because I didn't want to pay for dish. By adding channels, I"m able to get most of what I want to see. I'm able to add a couple of pay-channels and find my programming. Only have two complaints. First, it sometimes lags or locks up. I realize part of that is based on internet. But, I have enough juice in my internet that it should not lock up as much as it does. Second, some of the movie channels are absolute garbage. If you like old movies or B-movies, you will love the choices. If you want to watch more recent movies, plan to pay for subscriptions. On the other hand, they have channels available for just about any type of interest. I've enjoyed checking out lots of channels for fun. I've deleted most of them, but that's an easy process with Roku.

I saved a few bucks buying a refurbished stick works perfect had small issue with the remote was solved in no time working perfectly since.

Don't waste your money

I bought this thinking I would get a variety of no cost entertainment, however, that is not the case. Every app involved requires you to join, pay a fee, and even the few free channels require you to sign up. Annoying. If you have a smart TV you already have many of the apps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got my Roku stick a month ago. I love it. I use my Roku applications more than watching my regular TV no need for cable anymore!

I have only used my Roku Streaming Stick occasionally since I bought it a month ago, but it works just as well as my Roku 3! Love the convenience of traveling with it whenever I need to.

This is my second roku experience. I enjoyed the 1st so much I had to have one for 2nd tv. The only issues I have had with the stick is, occasionally the tv is unresponsive to remote. Removal and replacement of batteries seems to remedy. The 2nd issue is no volume control on remote. I probably should have realized it would not. Other than that, I love it!
