I bought this a month ago and I am so pleased with the ease of use. I am impressed with all the features and easy access to my favorite stations, as well as, social media.Great innovative technology for the budget conscious.

Truly dump cable

have 2 sticks and a 3 notice no real difference one works as good as the other. Many choices for tv and movies. Choices have come along way, some not free but reasonable. Some pay for amazon prime and don't know the movies they can get free with these units. Lots of news feeds from all over the country and beyond.

Roku Streaming Stick

Overall good performance. It does have a tendency to lock up at times and is slow to load even with the best internet available to my home. It is not compatible with AT&T Uverse internet to allow some channels to be played which is very disappointing (NatGe0).

This is our 4th Roku - we currently have a total of 2 sticks and one Roku 2 - the third stick failed after 3 months but all others are operating fine.

It does what I expected and more

My husband and kids bought this as my birthday gift. They seem to use it more than me. I mainly wanted it to watch Netflix and it works great. It also serves as a TV guide for our cable channels and other nice features. The one thing we would like is a way to shut it OFF without having to unplug it from the TV or unplug the power cord. Maybe it has this and I just can't find it in the instructions. It would be great if the remote had a On/Off button.
