Great product for price

Bought the Roku stick three months ago and have been pleased with its performance and channel offers. Gives me the choice of what on-demand channels I'd like to pay for, or not pay for, versus purchasing cable/sat. system and paying $$$ for only a certain number of channels.

I am not as tech savvy as others are. I have to ask my 14yr old nephew for help with my smart phone. But, setting up the Roku stick was super easy! The instructions were great and it just walked you through the process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poorly made and lag in mirroring

I had high hopes, considering all the previous models I had purchased are wonderful. Unfortunately, the design and construction of the product (software and housing) is a poor substitute for Roku's other streaming products. For casting I recommend Chrome Cast, but for everything else Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than Apple TV

I own both a Roku stick and an Apple TV. I love the portability the stick offers over the Apple TV. I'm also an Amazon Prime member which can't be used on he Apple TV. I didn't give it a perfect score because of course there is always room for improvement (picture does not appear to be as high def).

I've had my Roku for several months and I can always find something to watch. From conservative programs on Hulu to some of the far out stations that track UFO's they have it and everything in between. The only mistake you will make is NOT purchasing one. Go get one and enjoy!

Overall, a good product!

I bought this a little more than a month ago. It had been working wonderfully until a week ago when the HDMI cable started giving me trouble. I have to switch it out with another of my cords in order to get a program to play. The error message I receive is something about unauthorized HDMI and content disabled. Switching the cord is a pain, but otherwise, the stick works well.

I want more Apps!

Roku does everything it should, but I want similar apps to what I get on my iPhone - CBS Sports, Fox Sports and the Patriot League games

This by far the best device to have for TV multipurpose use. You can actually create your own channels, movies, games and the list goes on, definitely will buy my 2nd one!
