I purchase this item, because my television was Roku ready. And It is great!.It offer me more app then my smart TV. It easy to set up and a good buy. I would highly recommend it.

Nothng but purple screen

One day my old Roku HD stopped working on my View Sonic 24" 1080p bedroom TV. Purple screen. Searched the internet and tried all the fixes but nothing worked. Purchased a new cable, shut off tv, reset everything, etc... Finally tried a brand new Roku stick with exact same results. Very frustrating as the old Roku had worked for at least a year before it failed. Ended up getting a Vizio 28" smart tv and took back the Roku Stick.The old Roku is now working just fine on a different tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a great idea..but stopped working after 6 months. Every time I try it it bounces back to the ROKU logo...I have a Roku 2 in my living room..works awesome..miss my stick

I really like the ease of use. and its portability, When I go out,town instead of paying too much for hotel movies I just plug in and watch, When I go to relatives homes I carry my roku it works. wherever if there is wifi I have entertainment.

Lv the stick ,it connects so easy.The display menú is very easy to navigate.and it have to many feature you can add.

We have been using the Roku Stick for a month or so and we love it. Very easy to set up and has the shows we want to watch!! Easy to maneuver through the channels!!
