Bad product.

I bought this and brought it home right away to try it. The stick was totally unacceptable because it never worked properly. 2/3 of the time nothing happened when you pressed the button to select an icon. I tried changing batteries and it still did the same thing. I took it back and got my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my Roku stick for over a year. It is not only better than competitive devices I have tried, it's even better than my new "smart tv".

My 3rd Roku!

...because they work so well! I would rate it higher if we could get the full programming from Fox News cable channel for a reasonable cost. I will never buy another SMART TV but will instead make sure any future TVs purchased will have an extra HDMI port for ROKU.

Total failure

Have gone through two seperaty purchased Sticks and both failed electronically. The problem: there would be random freezing of video. The blue led on the sticks side would dim. To make operational the stick would be unplugged from tv, the power line unplugged then repuged and then reinserted. Then start over again until next outage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as other Roku products. Remote always needs to be reset, which means constantly rebooting the stick. Frustrating.
