Got my PC back

I was using my HTPC to watch Netflix, Amazon etc on my large screen TV, but working on other stuff made the video stutter or stop entirely. This little thing allows the family to stream without interruption. Plus the selection is just huge. I can also stream some content from my PC and since I have installed Plex, all the content on my hard drive can be played on the roku stick, ipad or iphone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good App selection

I bought this about a month ago. The streaming works great. As of late it has been freezing during programs and the remote becomes non-.responsive. This forces you to do a hard reset on the Roku stick and then you have to wait for the reboot. It also seems every other week I have to reactivate my Roku apps.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had the Roku stick for several months now. I previously used another type of streaming stick where I had to download apps for the channels we wanted to watch. The Roku stick has the remote which is much easier to maneuver than using your phone. I love the amazing channel opportunities and would recommend any of the Roku products to all of my friends and family.

I bought this for my bedroom tv. It works great. The only down fall is that it needs to be close to wifi. It doesn't work well if your modem is at the other end of the house.

What they won't tell you....

....is that the device needs to be no more than 3 ft from your router. Had to "chat" with support to find this out. By the way, this is the second time I've been asked to review this product. Something tells me they didn't like the last review.
