At home this works really well, at the hotel, not so much. The TV at the hotel had the slot I needed to plug it in, but the input selection on the TV was disabled, so I could not switch it over to watch from the Roku. I don't know if that's going to be the case everywhere & I'll try again, but this time it did not work. One other thing you should know is that there is a power cord you have to use. It's not just a stick like you see in the pictures, so you need to have the cord with you and you need to have an available outlet within reach.
The tech support people were friendly. I spent at least 1 hour with the first four and they could make it work for a short time. The fifth sent me a new wand and now it works.
Small and reliable the stick line of Roku devices is one of my faves because it provides the quality I need with efficiency. Great things really do come in small packages
I am so in love with my Roku Stick! I have had a Roku 1 for about 2 years now and was very happy with it but my cat was not. My cat continually knocked the Roku off the table and behind my dresser so I could not reach. The Roku Stick is perfect, it fits behind my flat screen and powers itself using the usb port so my cat can't find it and i can always watch my shows. I will be purchasing more for my other tvs!
