It only works sometimes but has good movies lots of shows to choose from and channels

Lacking in speed

The streaming stick appeared to be a great value for its size and feature set , but is hindered by its lack of speed. I returned it and purchased another player which had been reliable and snappy in the past.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible with netfkix

Constantly booted back to home screen while watching Netflix. 5plus times every episode. Other shows like Hulu and Amazon worked great on roku. Switched to Amazon Fire stick for Netflix and zero problems

No power button

Defective power cord

The 5' power cord was defective at the mini usb end, so it took me over 2 hours to locate the problem. It was not making a good connection and in turn the remote would not work and allow me to do the initial set-up. After much trial and error, I switched out the supplied power cord with my cord for charging my cell phone. Once I did this everything began working properly. In the end, it now works great and the company I bought this item from replaced the defective cord, but there sure was a lot of aggravation and frustration in trying to get it set-up.

Best Value Streaming

Really enjoy Roku. We tried a Chromecast and had endless trouble with it and could hardly rely on it to function properly. Finally we came to our senses and purchased a Roku stick and haven't looked back. Absolutely the best value out there.
