Doesn't work!

The Roku stick is more trouble than it's worth in my opinion. I have so much trouble getting the thing to work. My internet signal strength is "excellent" on it and our Roku 1 and we have a fast internet. Still, more times than not, I can't get the Roku stick to stream and a lot of times I can't even get it to respond - it just freezes. I've had one remote replaced as it quit working and so far the new one they sent isn't much better - I've come to the conclusion it is the Roku Stick, not the remotes. We started with the stick in our living room and I moved it to the bedroom thinking that maybe the TV setup was the problem with the stick, but that doesn't seem to be the case either. We have Roku 1 and have no issues with it at all so I have an idea how it should work properly. Most times when trying to watch something on the stick I just end up hanging it up after many frustrations. Not worth it!!!! Wish I would have gotten a Roku box instead of the stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great way to stream!

My bedroom Blu-ray player wasn't streaming well at all, so I decided to try the Roku. What a difference! Roku has made it possible to comfortably watch almost anything. Thanks!

Streaming stick is exactly what I need..small and out of sight..only complaint is that I haven't received the hdmi extension cord which can't really complain cause it's free

worked awesome until remote quit working

I bought this for college and it worked great then the remote stopped working and it wasn't because of the batteries kinda disappointed

I am happy with it. I got it a couple of months ago. It's nice to use in my bedroom for Netflix..but it is slow with bad delays. I have used other ones and they were slow also.
