Roku is an excellent product , put all of my movie at my movie a few clicks on a remote away, I found that it is much better than having to put dvd's in my dvd playr. no more scratched or dvd 's that won't load for me or having to put dvd's back in case .Thank u Roku for making it so easy to entertain my nieces.a 6 yr old can use this product with ease
I would suggest a longer AC cord. When you have the TV high the cord has to be attached to an extension cord which causes it to be heavier and pulls down on the stick resulting in a disconnection happening with the stick.
My last Roku ate through batteries. It was about a pair per show. The replacement one is doing the same thing. How do I get a Roku that works? It's not a question of how easy it is to use, it's a question of how EXPENSIVE it is to use.
The remote for the streaming stick stops working and requires removal of the batteries for a reset this has happened at least 10 times in the 30 days since purchase. Streaming stick also locks up frequently which requires removing the stick from the HDMI port and also disconnecting the power to the stick. overall a very poor product
This is my third Roku device, its exactly what you would probably expect. I'd say its slightly faster than my Roku HD but MUCH slower than my Roku 3 (4200). The lag is definitely noticeable but once you are in the app, the device works perfectly and exactly as you would hope. Even works well with Sling TV, which I had experienced issues with on the Roku HD.
We bought the Roku Stick and are very happy that we can now access AcornTV with it's many UK-originated content. The only issue is that the remote is a bit sluggish, which means I get click-happy and end up locking the device. My bad. After a few days I used a bit more patience and it has performed just fine.
I have two Roku sticks bought at separate times, I don't like that this particular stick requires to be wired to an ac cord to power. My first stick is wireless. I would not purchase this stick again
