If it was up to me we would not own a tv but my husband watches it. After getting fed up with centurylink and there outrageous prices I convinced my husband to try the Roku. Could not be happier love it. I love looking through all the different options and channels. My only disappointment is you have to have direct tv to get the nfl package if I had direct tv would not need a Roku, but I love it.
I have had a subscription to Netflix for a long while and got tired of viewing on my computer monitor. Now I can watch my favorite programs on a large screen. Bravo!
I bought a Roku stick and a box and couldn't be happier. I added sling TV which has a subscription but I'm still paying $50 less a month then what I was with cable. Plus, there are a lot of free movie apps and kid apps that my 3 month old loves watching and there educational.
So we have been happy a Roku 2 customers for years. We thought we'd pick up the stick for the tv in our bedroom. What a waste of money. I want the hours of time looking up how to make this thing work. Shows Internet connection is fine and did all the things recommended on their trouble shooting section of website. Long story short, don't waste time or money on this thing. Not worth the aggrevation.
I bought this only a few months ago but the remote never works. Even with new batteries put in. The streaming stick is always cutting out and I have to go readjust it. Very inconvienent. Not impressed.
