No need for a "smart tv"

A year ago, I had purchased a 50" flat screen TV without the installed streaming channels built in. I was regretting my purchase because of this, but I could not justify purchasing a new TV just because of that. Then someone told me about the Roku streaming stick.I researched the stick online and found that it had received high review ratings, and the purchase price was very reasonable so, I went out that day to purchase it. It was extremely easy to set up and only took minutes. I LOVE it. We have purchased another stick as a Christmas gift for our son in college.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Viewing flexability

Great product. Only concern is that it will not work while streaming thru a receiver. Must be plugged directly to TV. Not a big deal but a little inconvenient.

The Roku streaming stick works ok, I wish I can say it works great but it has a tendency to crash and restart a lot. I would say at least once to twice a day with medium to heavy use. Also the remote always seems to have to be re-linked to the roku stick Not sure why that is. If it wasn't for the constant restarts this would be a great product

There sure is a lot of choice for viewing with the ROKU. It is much different than regular TV and will take some getting use to since it is a replacement for my cable TV. I like it better every day

From the first time you plug it in you start watching tv the way YOU want to watch tv. Buy just what you want to watch and the free channels are wonderful also. You can move the stick to ant tv you have or do what I did and buy a stick for every tv you have. NO more cable, no more satellite charging you for things you will never see.
