I have a love hate relationship with this roku stick it has good features and ok form factor however it is very buggy, for example when scrolling through the meun it often freezes up temporarily and sometimes the remote seems like it loses sync with the device making it a bigger hassle to deal with when you are trying to get through the menu or fast forward or rewind through a show. If you have space for it I would recommend just getting the roku 3 I have this one also and I love it and the ease of use.

I have had this Roku about 3 months or so now(have been unable to use it in the past 1 month), the remote has completely stopped working. Before it stopped working I had to change the batteries at least 10 times in 2 months. I love the Roku but the fact that I can't have a usable remote is a bit ridiculous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Remote is horrible

Since the fist day of using this the remote does not work 90% of the time. I have to either pull the batteries out and put them back in or "roll" the batteries. Every time!

I had the Chromecast and was told about Roku. I have found out thru using it that Roku is Faster and has a lot more to offer. I would recommend Roku to anyone.

The Roku stick it's a little slow, we really don't use it. I mostly use google chrome and the Raspberry Pi. I have maybe used it twice and when we have its slow, takes too long to load. Its unplugged from TV for at least two weeks now.

Love the fact that this allows me to save cash. Period. Faults? Once in a while it resets on it's own. Lag I guess. But love the variety of channels I can explore. I give it 5 stars because I save 80 bucks a month now.
