The Roku 3 is much better.

Roku took the time to request this review via my email so here it is. I've had nothing but problems with the plug in and remote. We have the Roku 3 on our main TV with no problems. The stick however you have to take out and plug back in several times before it responds. The remote we have to take the batteries in and out every time we want to use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT A YEAR AGO, AND COULDNT SET IT UP ON A WALL MOUNTED TV, BECAUSE WALL MOUNT WAS IN THE WAY OF THE INPUT, AND NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE STICK. IF STICK HAD A SWIVEL TIP, WHERE YO CAN BEND FOR TIGHT SPACE WOULD BE NICE.

We hardly watch cable anymore. However, the charger sent with the Roku has already stopped working. That's the only downside we have found with this. Love it!

Use it to supplement smart TV

Great and usable item. Convenient to use and plugs into TV usb for power. Use it to supplement Smart TV apps that it didn't have. I do unplug it when not using because it seems to get warm.. But I works flawlessly. Good buy, good product, yes I would recommend it

Would not stay connected to wifi signal - returned

Roku Stick would not stay connected to network. Very sporadic connection. Sent product back. Current Roku works fine in the same location.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
