Great alternative to cable

I decided to get a Roku as an alternative to cable in my bedroom and it's been great. With Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu, there is always something to watch!

Terrible and inconvenient

I got the Roku Stick about 3 weeks ago. The problem is that every time I want to use it, I have to unplug it and then plug it back in for me to be able to stream. The remote does not work and the app feature that has the remote on it does not connect. I attempted to talk to customer service about this and his reply was to change the batteries on the remote, which I did and still did not fix the problem. After that there was really no other solution. I am returning it today and buying the Amazon Fire stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought about two months ago and I am pleased on how easy it is to maneuver in the menu screens! Very user friendly

Love our Roku stick

We were amazed at the easy set up.... once we figured it out to switch TV mode to HDMI-2.... only took us a few minutes, but was not included in instructions, and we were "almost" stumped because we had never streamed anything and were not familiar with the process.....Roku should consider adding basic (TV mode) set up process for customers new to streaming, it would have been helpful to us. That said, once we figured that piece out, the set up of the stick was incredibly easy and super-duper user friendly! We never thought we'd be streaming TV, but now that we are, we're hooked! Such a better way to watch TV! Totally good investment! We LOVE our Roku!
