Buy the Roku Box

I have the worst time with this item. It has to continually connect to our network and drops off often. It has to be reset frequently. We have two other Roku box units that work well and do not have these same issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is a bit slow sometimes. Once in a while we have to unplug it and plug it back in but it always works and we SO Love having Roku!

My Second Stick

I bought one last year for an older tv. It worked so well, I had to have another for the tv in our vacation home. Turned my box into a "smart tv"!

Nice Features but Very Slow & Laggy Interface

I like the features, nearly identical to my Roku 4 & Roku 3. However, I am pretty disappointed with the power of the unit. Interface is very slow, laggy, & gets stuck on screens very easily. Loading time is severely low, just a very underpowered device.

I can see the potential

I bought this product little over a month ago and am not really enthused about it. I can see how it could be a great product, it is a great concept. MAKE SURE YOU DO SUFFICIENT RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. My cable bill was getting out of hand (expensive) so I tried the Roku to "replace" cable tv. I knew going into this, that it would not be the same, however I did not realize how useless this product is. The free items available on the Roku are not worth watching (in my opinion of course) and the show/movies I want to watch cost a fortune. By the time I pay for the things I want to watch, I might as well continue to pay for cable. I find that I don't use the Roku at all and almost exclusively watch Netflix. I must say that I am disappointed in my choice to purchase this product.
