Convenient and versatile!

We recently decided to give up cable and switch to streaming services for our TV viewing.
The Roku stick we purchased has been great for that! Being able to access Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, etc. from one screen has been great. Plus the ease of using the stick on multiple TVs in our home by literally unplugging and plugging in in a different room has made the transition from cable to streaming extremely easy.

Roku Stick

It did not work for us. We had to unplug and plug it in several time and then the remote did not work even after changing the battery. For the few days it worked it worked ok but in the end we were disappointed and returned it for a full refund.

Overwhelming but great

I bought the Roku streaming stick almost 2 months ago. There is so much on it, I know I haven't even experienced it all yet. It's a great cheaper option to cable. I am slightly disappointed that there is so much you need subscriptions to. Mostly, cbs. On my computer I can go to the same site and get 5 most recent episodes and the rest you would need to subscribe to cbs all access, but with roku you get no episodes free. There is still a lot to explore and I'm happy with my purchase.

I got this about 6 months ago and it worked great for the first couple months but now I have to reset the entire device at least once a day due to connection errors

my cable was getting to cost way more than the amount I watched TV . The cost of the ROKU I purchased was less cost than I was paying for cable and am very pleased the way it preforms for me . I still am learning on using it yet .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
