Perfect for Bedroom

Bought specially because has time warner app and can drop cable box fee as set gets little use. Plus now have access to Netflix, etc. on what was non-smart tv. Only thing is some live sports are not as smooth as with a cable. A few more steps to channel surf.

We love it!!! We bought on thanksgiving it gets used just about every day! Don't know if the grown ups or the kids love it more!

I bought this Roku Streaming Stick because I wanted an energy efficient way of watching Netflix and Hulu. I had been using my PS3 for this and that thing sucks power like crazy. The only reason this is getting 4 out of 5 and not 5 stars is because at times it is infuriatingly slow. Loading apps, browsing Netflix, and starting up takes a long time. Actual streaming is great but getting there can take some time. Other than the speed I have no other issues. It works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote control issues

We bought the Roku stick four months ago and the remote control has been an absolute nightmare. It will work for a space of time and then stop working. We finally end up getting the Roku app on our phones to use as a remote but even that periodically looses signal with the stick. We have the larger box version on another tv and love it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
