Ease of start up

I bought this product because my Roku box conked out. From reading online, I was led to the possibility that maybe internal heat was the culprit. So I opted for the stick to possibly combat that scenario.

Roku streeming stick

It is ok, but when watching moves it stops every 5 minutes or so and loads and that is iterating and some time it take forever to load so I have to shut it down and turn it back on. OK but for the money it should be better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My mother got this for me as an early Christmas present, because I love watching Netflix on my tv. My Xbox stopped working so I had no way to watch it on there. So she got me this and I am so so happy with it! All you need is a good internet connection! It runs very fast and a lot smoother than I ever thought it would. Doesn't take long to load anything. Plus, has cool features like renting movies! How awesome. It is also small so it takes up basically zero space. I love this!!! Love love love it

Good streaming

I have a Roku 3 and bought the stick for my daughter to use at collage. She couldn't get it connected to the collage WiFi so she brought it home and I use it for a secondary TV. It works as expected, slower than the Roku 3, but overall I'm satisfied.

I think the streaming stick is just ok. If you are looking into purchasing a Roku device I would choose one of the better models for sure.

Convenient But A Few Problems

The streaming stick provides really great clarity for all broadcasts in comparison with my Roku Two model, and that was really nice to begin with. I like the convenience of simply inserting it into the HD outlet. The only negative I have noticed is that sometimes the control does not function, it freezes and I have to unplug the electrical connection to restart. This happens infrequently. Otherwise, it is a really nice tool to bring in a superlative picture.
