It's ok

It's nice to have with an old TV so you can access your netflix or hulu but there isn't that many free channels. Almost everything on there requires a cable provider unless you want to watch PBS kids. I do like the stations with old movies and TV shows though. So overall not bad, but not the big solution to get stations without cable

Except for a problem in the beginning with tv recognition (which was fixed by a technician quickly and on a Sunday!) I have had no problems with the performance of the streaming stick and would recommend both the stick and the roku company.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this as a replacement for cable & it fulfills it's purpose well! It's a little bit slow to react to the remote, but for the price I paid for it, I'm not complaining.

Beyond Expectations

My son purchased Roku to increase our selection of programing. I was in a long recovery from surgery. I already had a Netflix account and wanted to watch on a large screen in comfort. I Was amazed at the selection. Never cared for cable. It seemed to have so much I didn't want but had to pay for it. Now I choose what my selection is and only pay for the things I am interested in. At the same time there are so many things that are free. We are lucky to be able to get good reception with power antennas for local channels and over 40 to choose from. If I had to I would only do the basic cable and Roku and would still save a lot of money.
