Nice device for comfortable entertainment

I bought this device a month ago and compared to all video streaming devices I found it excellent. I don't have to hook my laptop whenever I want to watch something on YouTube or Netflix or so on. This device works perfectly fine.
The only problem is the interfaces to streaming services are extremely poor. The response time with the remote is horrible. Takes limit of your patience when you are selecting a program to watch.
I hope this problem shall be resolved soon by upgrading the firmware on the streaming device and the remote.

Roku Streaming Stick vs. Fire Stick

I had Roku on all my tv's except one. I decided to purchase a fire stick and try it out. I liked the fire stick, but missed the versatility of the Roku. I have so many more channel selections with Roku and I like the layout a little better. I guess I'm just a Roku girl!

It's Good, just not what I expected

I bought this for myself as a birthday gift. I was expecting tons of cool features but almost everything cost. luckily I already had a Netflix and Hulu subscription or else this stick would be useless. it's basically like my xbox just you can't play cool game on it.

Portable and easy to use

While the streaming stick is a little slow, it does everything we need it to do. So far, we've only subscribed to Netflix. It takes a while for Netflix to load, but once it does, it runs perfectly. We have never had a problem. We chose the Streaming Stick because of it's portability, whether it's just to move it to another room or take it with us when we travel. We are strongly considering getting another unit, maybe the box this time, so we can keep on our main TV and use the other for the kids or just for traveling.
