I bought this about a month ago. I am so glad I did. I can now watch Netflix, ESPN, and HBO without having cable.

It is awesome for what it was made to do. What I really dont like is that you still need service from a provider for a lot of channels so you really still need cable tv.

I bought this for another TV since I like my Roku 2XD (bought in 2013) very much. But I am disappointed with whatever features they added or removed.
I turn off the power for everything at night, so next day I have to go through the menu from Roku Home, Channels, Categories, and episodes all over again and search for what I was watching. With Roku 2, I could see the episode for right season right away without going through the menus. It is a good feature this Roku Stick doesn't have.
Only one feature I may like is that the next episode starts without using remote, but after few episodes it will wait for your response to continue.
The small size is good, but I like my old Roku 2XD better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

intermittent video problems solved

I had been told that we needed to replace the wiring in our walls in order to get uninterrupted streaming, but the streaming stick soved the probvlem instantly. We have had no problems streaming Netflix since installing the device. The installation worked the first time, which I found to be a relief. Since then we have had no rebuffering, interruption, or error messages. What a difference!
