maybe it was a lemon

I have owned the roku stick for less than a month and have nothing but issues. It will be going right back to the store to trade for a 2 or 3 model. Nothing but lagging and freezing since it came out of the box. Only nice feature is the remote doesnt need to be pointed at the device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the stick. And WOW. AMAZING! I never leave the house. This is better than any form of cable, sat, ect. The best. HANDS DOWN, THE WINNER!!! Pearlon

Like the fact there's alot of channels. However the biggest disappointment is that alot things aren't captioned or if it is, it's messed up.

Unless you are still "connected to cable", there is not much difference between this and streaming on your other devices but my 9yr old son is happy with it.
