Remote is bad

2 months old Roku stick. I have a Roku 3 which is awesome but wanted something to take on the road with me. Remote was always slow and now it barely works. Replaced batteries, no change. I now just use the remote on the roku app. It is fast and makes the Roku stick work great.

Love this device! Simple and easy to use. Even better, my parents have DirecTV so I can access even more by logging in to our online account.

I wanted to be able to watch JW Broadcasting on a screen larger than my laptop. The Roku gave me this ability with easy set up and it is available on demand with the touch of a few buttons. I haven't subscribed to any of the "fee requiring" services, so the whole experience is free for my family and totally worth the initial investment. We think Roku is fantastic!

Great for the price

I used the Roku Stick to replace my cable box. It does suffer from an occasional freeze and random reboot (have 2 and both do this). The stick will get pretty warm. It's not as fast as the boxes either, but for the price you can't beat it.

I have cut the cable cord, and now have not only extra money in my pocket, but freedom to choose what and when I watch, what I want to watch. Interruptions, no problem just hit 'pause'.
Fall asleep, no problem, when you wake up play the show from the beginning. Enjoy family entertainment with clean humor, and clever dialog.
Only problems I've noticed so far is the signal being lost and having to reset it; when marathon watching many episodes from many seasons the show 'freezes'; and sometimes the next episode begins before the previous one has ended.
