Terrible remote issues!

I bought this about a month ago. The remote control did not work well from the beginning. Luckily there is an app that can be downloaded to a smart phone that works better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a roku stick that had lost connectivity with the remote . Tried all recommendations to no avail . I called it in and the customer service took care of the issue. Love it !

Great alternative to cable.

We have the Roku set up in our business. Keeps us entertained while we have some downtime or while we do paperwork. Much better than cable. A Roku streaming NetFlix is a great alternative to traditional cable and costs a lot less.

Bought the Roku Hd stick a year ago, I love all the features, it's seriously the best thing I bought. I mostly use it for my kids to watch Netflix, or play YouTube.
