Since I purchased my Roku a few months ago, I haven't watched cable TV at all! I love it so much I purchased one for my daughter and one for my mother for Christmas.

TV almost anywhere

Bought this to have access to Netflix on the TV in the bedroom. It doesn't connect to the internet consistently or easily. When it does work, its pretty great. Sadly, it doesn't work often enough. The screen mirroring feature is useful .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the easy-to-use, plug and play install. My husband is constantly losing the remote inside the couch, so we have the Roku remote app on our phones and iPads so we never have to hunt. I like the selection of streaming apps and the ease of renting/buying movies with M-Go. My only issue is some lag when we watch Sling-tv, but that could be my network or Sling-tv's issue.

I got this Roku stick with a subscription of Sling TV and its works really very well, I love it I have a Chrome cast as well and its 100 times better than chrome cast in many ways.
Its does not work very well with You tube but rest of things works really well.
Any directional Remote is a best advantage of this device which make it more convenient to use.

So many (free) choices

Bought this for my hubby for Christmas. We had a Blu-ray/dvd player previously, which we moved to another set. The Roku plugs into the back of the TV. It seems to respond quicker & not as much buffering as our Blu-ray. We are very pleased.
