This is the second Roku I have purchased. I prefer the little box to the streaming stick unless your using this for a laptop or computer experience. For the big tv experience I would stay with the box. The controller is larger for the box unit and I have more of a problem with the stick streaming than with the box streaming. The stick seems to reset itself more often, has a longer delay to load and also the picture on screen is not as clear as with the box. I would definitely purchase another Roku box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product but needs a better remote

Works great with the exception of the remote which can be slow to respond and does not have #'s to go directly to a channel, instead you have to scroll which is a waste of time especially with the # of channels increasing.

I have a ROKU box and I love it. I bought this ROKU stick for my bedroom TV. The stick did not get good wifi connection. It would not stream for more than a min or two without buffering, if at all!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for the price

Pros:
-Turns your TV into a smart TV
-Easy to use/setup
-Cheap (free with sling 3 month trial)
-Insane amount of channels to pick up (albeit most you have to subscribe to, but I can still watch latest episode of South Park on CC channel)
-End the trauma with your cable SUB-provider (I can feel my butt again)

-A power button would be nice, not sure that it sucks up much juice but the light stays on on the stick
-The remote is a bit too responsive; I have to put it on the end table because if it is next to me on the couch and I accidentally hit it, boom there goes what I was watching and now I have to reload. I do it frequently and it annoys me.
-There should be an ability to reprogram some of the station buttons. Rdio is no longer a channel, which makes my Rdio station button utterly worthless. You would think sling would be one of the buttons since it was part of the offer.

Almost gave it a 4/5 because of the remote, but I figure it isn't worth taking a star away. It's still a great device, even though the remote is not ideal. All in all it is a good product, definitely worth it if your TV is not smart.

Love my Roku

I made this purchase over a month ago and I am so happy I did. It took less than 10 minutes to install and set up, this included unpacking it. I did buy the Amazon Fire first and had a hard time with it so I returned it and tried it. 100% satisfaction with the Roku. Movies stream without delay.

I brought about month ago love love it.I wish that i new about it long time ago.Look what I been missing out. You need advertise this little more because I found out by my cousin when I went over her house 11/7/15 when i got home went buy me one love love it.
