Pretty much plug and play. Would be nice if it was powered thru the USB instead of having to plug it in to power. We love our Roku we really don't watch regular TV at all.

Poor fitment, laggy

I bought this to replace one of my older roku boxes downstairs. It does not fit any of the HDMI ports on the back of the TV, so I had to plug it into the one on the side, Now it sticks way out, and has the USB cord hanging, the package is horrible. The software is laggy as can be, you have no idea how many times the unit has counted your button presses on the remote. You wind up going to the wrong video or episode, or typing the wrong letters. This device is junk. I love my older XS and XD Roku's.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Two of the buttons didn't work

The home button and back button didn't work. I had to exchange it. Other than that great. Riki should add the mirroring option this would trump Apple TV and chromecast

I already own a Roku 3 and a Roku TV and in my dining room I have a TV that is hung from the wall. I found it very convenient to use a Roku streaming stick instead of a Roku 3, because then I would have to find /make a place for it to be rested. The stick just plugs into your HDMI port and you are all set. I absolutely love it. Great price and finally good bye to Cable!!!!
