Enjoying Roku

I love having it. There is a problem that I do have frequently though, it doesn't always recognize my wifi. I need to restart it frequently. All other items in my house work fine with the wifi and I don't use them at the same time, so I shouldn't have to be restarting it frequently. I would give it a 5 star if this didn't happen.

The Roku Stick was my fifth Roku device and it's the best value of any of them. It offers all of the great Roku features -- including a radio remote -- in a small package which tucks discretely behind my television.

Many prime apps plus some!

Was purchased because my other devices just didn't have what i wanted. Roku streaming stick had them plus tons more! Very easy to use with an HDMI port on your viewing device. Plus you can use your smartphone as a controller with the Roku app! What more could you want?

It just works

Nice device. I like the portability and size. I had a 2xs and got this because this and some earlier Roku boxes don't support multiple Netflix users. The only complaint I have is it doesn't load apps any more quickly than the 2xs. Comedy Central is the slowest. Would love to try the 3 or 4 to see if it's purely a processor speed issue. My WiFi speedtest app on the stick is over 20 Mbps, so it's not an ISP bandwidth issue (imho)

More than we thought

We gave up cable because of the high cost. Bought our Roku stick and have more free TV. Movies, National and local news and weather than we expected. Love the rent movie or TV shows options. Well worth the cost. You will need wireless internet to use.

No More expensive cable bills!!

I have had my Roku for a month now. I was encouraged by a friend to give it a try. I am so glad I did. With my Roku and an HD TV antenna I have been cable free for 3 weeks. Once I got used to the adding of channels, I get the shows I want with no annoying commercials and I have no problems finding something interesting to watch.

It was easy to connect and set up and love streaming all the shows finally on my flat screen TV instead of watching on laptop or tablet!
