Helps "smart" tv

I bought the streaming stick because our "smart" tv app selection was not very good. I love all the different streaming channels available. The stick is easy to install and use.

works great usually, nice to get away from cable

works great usually, nice to get away from cable, satellite.....many choices to look at, most require subscription, or can watch with commercials. Does lock up at times, rarely, but had to take batteries out, unplug, then it worked again. other times it freezes for a while....centurylink network? dunno.

Happy to have all streaming services on one device, though the remote does leaves something to be desired in terms of reliability (or maybe it just drains batteries at a fiendish rate).

I bought the Roku Streaming Stick for a second (non-smart) TV to stream movies and TV programs using my Amazon Prime and Netflix subscriptions in December 2015.
My expectations have been exceeded in all aspects, simple installation, intuitive, user friendly remote and overall product performance. I plan to replace an old Blu-Ray player on our primary TV with the Roku 4 system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After we enhanced our WiFi range, the product worked wonderfully. We have also installed an indoor satellite and then cancelled our cable to save tons of money.
