Works ok

The remote quit working 2 months after buying the streaming stick. it would not let me link it to a universal remote, I tried 5 different brands of universal remotes and no success. I even tried using an app on my smart phone to use for a remote and had issues. I bought the Roku 2 about a year ago and have had no issues with it. Instead of buying the streaming stick do yourself a favor and buy the regular Roku!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just as good as our Roku HD box was

We had the Roku HD box for 5 years and it recently started to die. We replaced it with the stick and are just as happy. All of our channels popped up when we logged in. All we had to do was log back in to each pay channel and we were good to go. No glitches or streaming issues. Picture quality is great.

I have enjoyed so many TV shows. Wonderful to be able to watch past seasons and episodes. I also have enjoyed ESPN. I am an Auburn Tiger fan and am able to watch all types of sporting events (softball, women's basketball, gymnastics and of course football). I do wish Roku had some type of voice command. Amazon provides this feature.

I purchased the Roku stick while visiting my parents out of state so my teenage daughter could binge on Netflix without using her iPhone or iPad. She loved it! The streaming abilities and the options are awesome. The apps/channels are plentiful.

I bought this item about 5 weeks ago and everytime I turn it on I have to unplug it and plug it back in just to get it to work.
