I had an older roku box for over ten years very few problems, got the new roku stick and it locks up all the time and says it cant connect in a middle of a show, its annoying!!!

great idea, poor execution

I purchased a roku about a month ago. The streaming stick was easy to hook up to my TV and the remote was easy to understand but unfortunately I am dissatisfied with the user interface. Each of the streaming apps (Netflix, HULU, HBOgo) has an interface that is very user un-friendly. I think this makes the roku subpar when paired against its counterparts like appleTV and others.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
