A much used Christmas present. You need to fix Facebook hookup. Dont like need to sign in to see some shows.

I bought this at Christmas it is great for switching rooms, I switch from kitchen in the daytime and bedroom at night. The construction of the stick is easy but not sturdy, my daughter dropped it and the metal part bent but it still works. I would by it again.

I got this for Christmas and has so far been one of my favorite presents! It has all the streaming services I need and makes watching all my favorite shows and movies EASY.

Streaming Stick vs. Roku 3

I have the Roku 3 for my living room and wanted to get another streaming device for my bedroom. I was going to get another Roku 3, then my younger sister (college student) said the Streaming stick is just like the Roku 3 as far as the interface. So I went with it. I like that I can take the stick with me on vacations, but what I don't like, especially since I have the Roku 3, is that the streaming stick is MUCH slower than the Roku 3. My sister would have never known that she is missing out on getting to netflix faster cause she doesn't have anything to compare it to, but it takes sooo long waiting for Netflix, hulu, etc. to load with the stick. If you're old enough to remember, its like having dial-up internet from back in the day. If you like to get to things fast and get irritated with waiting for things to load, get the roku 3. But if you are a broke college student, traveler, or rarely intend on using your streaming device, i'd say get the stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great capabilities once remote worked

Bought as Xmas gift for hubby, remote had two "loose" battery connectors. My husband messed with it after my frustration of removing, switching & reloading batt it would work but only until the next time u went to use it. Frustrating but he adjusted the wires & it's been very reliable since. Just a pain because only way to use IT IS IF REMOTE READS SIGNAL FROM ROKU as there's no control buttons on stick but when it cooperates it's the greatest thing ever for Netflix & Pandora in my opinion easy to switch from tv to tv also very easy that way.
