Roku Streaming Stick Great Value

Our family likes the speed of the Roku stick. It feeds Netflix fast. One can binge on TV episodes because it loads next one within 30 seconds. However, because there's no power off button to Roku, it could run next episodes even if TV is turned off since they don't power off same way unless you disconnect power strip that they may share. Therefore, we recommend setting Roku back to main menu before you stop using Roku streaming stick even if TV setting is to switch from HDMI channel to regular channels.
We like the huge variety of all the free channels, especially the free amateurs' collections from the GOPRO channel and YouTube channel. I like the variety of the free news clips but am tired of the same repetitious Red Lobster ad between each news story.
I got Roku streaming stick for family as Christmas gift and to access the Amazon Prime channel. I think I made the better choice with Roku based on other's reviews to avoid the other Amazon content ads included on Firestick. We're very pleased with the quality of Roku using 15 mbs internet from Time Warner cable to stream it all seamlessly.

after reading the instructions and information that was provided with the streaming stick I still had trouble connecting to my modem with it, I eventually found some information from another person who shared some information on a internet site and was able to get my streaming stick to finally work, information i did get from roku was insufficient and was lucky I was able to find this other persons information.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this for Christmas so I'm still learning everything that the Roku does....but I love how easy it makes it to access Netflix & play music.

Great Features for an extra TV

I got this for Christmas and bought it for my extra TV in my bedroom, I'm glad I made the purchase as I can now view Hulu and Netflix on this TV.

I BOUGHT MY ROKU IN JANUARY OF 2015. I THINK IT TOOK ME 11 MONTHS TO GET IT OUT OF THE BOX AND ONLY A FEW MINUTES TO HOOK IT UP. I HAVE BEEN ENJOYING IT SINCE.
