Sometimes misleading, doesn't notify me of new epi

I got this as a free gift from a computer store. It tells me I can have CNNgo but I can't because I'm not a cable subscriber. On the regular HULU interface, I see notices for new episodes, not on the ROKU interface. The remote search is a pain and the app that worked on my phone just disappeared. But I do like streaming on the TV screen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great quality TV

We received a New TV for Christmas and went out to purchase the Roku Stick.. My wife and both are amazed at the quality.. We can watch the same show on Cable or watch it via the Roku and the Roku for far more superior

Sluggish little stick

My only real complain about this streaming stick is that it is sluggish. There is always a delay after buttons are pressed and it takes longer to load. We also have a Roku three and we never have problems. We have excellent WiFi connectivity so I'm not sure why there is such a disparity between the two. It is a disappointment for sure.

Each of our 3 tvs is now equipped with a Roku stick and work perfectly. Allows us to watch our steaming channels where we want to.

Ease of use.

I have purchased two Roku devices...first, a streaming player and about a year later, a streaming stick. I was so spoiled by the ease of use of the the player that I had to have a stick to use when traveling. I am extremely pleased!

I have a Roku stick on all TVs that are not "smart" and I won't have anything else. The quality of service and selections are excellent and I don't have to explain the remote to anyone. I tell them it's like the apps on their phones and they're off to TV!
