Aggravating and disappointing

"Warm-up" times. We can't just click on and have entertainment. We have to wait.
Stoppages while watching shows. We can't just watch selections from start to finish. It acts like it has to "download" stretches of shows.
Definitely NOT an improvement from our previous ROKU experience.

I have four streaming sticks. Roku is great. The remotes, not so much. Only one out of four works. And it's not the batteries.

The Roku Streaming Stick functions well, good wireless connectivity, great selection of channels, etc. However, the remote control is almost useless. After changing the batteries twice, we still get connectivity issues between the remote and the stick. We have resorted to using the Roku app on our smart phones for control. For an RF-based remote control the performance and range is dismal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed that Netflix won't play. That was the main reason I purchased it. Amazon Prime does okay.
