Great value/ easy to navigate

My Christmas stocking stuffer was the simplest model. It was easy enough for this non-tech self of mine to install and set up. I love being able to you-tube some how to crafts or watch a netflix movie in the kitchen while I'm working in there. I actually read the emails they send me about features I may have missed. It was so much to learn at first. But now I can navigate with the best.

I bought this with the intention of using it when traveling for my daughter's cheer competitions when staying in the hotels, however it has proved to be so much more useful and convenient at home for every day use as well. We have a digital box in our living room and only a standard converter in my daughter's bedroom. The Roku has given her so much more access to the shows she loves on Disney and Nickelodeon to name a few.

My husband got the Roku Streaming Stick, HDMI Version, for me for Christmas this year. We were toying around with the idea of getting a smart tv, but we really could not afford the purchase. I have streaming apps on my tablet, but its not much fun watching movies or shows on something so small. I honestly had no idea this product even existed and had no idea that it would do the same exact thing that a smart tv does, and it only needs to be inserted into the HDMI 2 port after changing the input on the tv from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2. It was incredibly easy to set up and register and the streaming quality is awesome. I was able to download all of the apps that I normally use to my tv, which is so much better than watching it on a tablet screen. This device is also only a fraction of what a smart tv or other streaming stick costs, so its well worth the investment. I absolutely love it and use it daily!!

Dependable and easy to use

Bought 2 streaming sticks - one for the TV in the family room and one for the TV in the master bedroom. work great - easy to set up and use. Slight hesitation in loading the internet in the bedroom but not a show stopper.

Love My Roku!

I received this for Christmas from my son. I had a very cheap streaming device and when I first set this up, even the volume & quality of sound on my surround sound system was dramatically improved to the point I felt like I then owned a high end surround sound! I was very impressed!
