My son gave this to me as a Christmas gift. I am very happy with it with one exception. When I switch from cable (Verizon) I have to disconnect the power from the Roku stick briefly to get the video feed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great streaming device

Have had the Roku Streaming Stick for about a month and bought it mainly for the Acorn TV channel. Have had no problems at all - streaming is consistently stable and picture sharp.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Roku Streaming Stick is working great!

After years of watching my cable TV bill go up and the quality of television shows go down, I cancelled cable and bought a Roku Streaming Stick. Set-up was easy, and many of the channels I watch are free or have a very small monthly fee.

I bought this a month ago as the first step in cutting the cable cord! So glad I did! This simple stick helps me to find entertainment, minimum network advertising (hey - everybody has to make a living) and even YouTube videos required for my psychology studies! The only reason I would rate the Roku less than excellent is that It is never abundantly clear which channels charge subscription fees and which do not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great option for smaller wall-mounted TVs. In my experience it works just as well as the Roku 3 with only a slight performance hit. Highly recommended.
