I purchased the streaming stick just to test the waters before I purchased one of the newer models. It is a great product that I have had no issues with since purchasing last month.

Slow and locks up

Slow and locks up. has to be power cycled often then re-synked with remote

I have a Roku 3 and love it. The Roku stick came as an incentive to SlingTV 3 month subscription. Since I loved my other one, i thought this would be a great way to enjoy Roku on another TV. However, the stick has to be "re-boot" every time I go to watch it on this Roku stick. I just cannot sit down and watch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my first ROKU for over a year and absolutely love it. Bought a second for my daughter's bedroom TV. Set up is easy, works like a charm. Only one complaint. The volume control has to be very high to hear the dialogue. Seems the background noise isn't filtered as well as it should be. Its a minor complaint. Would buy another one in a heartbeat.
