LOVE IT

Always wanted this. Like many of us, I watch a lot of Netflix. Now I can watch it anywhere! I don't have to watch it the family room, with the stick I can take it anywhere, anytime and we can watch it in bed if we're too tired! how great is that? TV is awesome.
I can also stream my videos from my PC to a TV anywhere.
The ONLY thing is, I wish Roku would somehow support any video/audio format.

Roku 3 Review

So far, so good. Some of the apps load slower than they do when I stream them directly from my TV (i.e. Netflix), but once loaded run just fine. Easy to set up. Some of the channels have problems with freezing up and then coming back online (i.e. Cinema Now app)- but overall I am very happy with my decision to purchase it.

Great product!

I bought this product a couple of months ago. It is a great product, I have really enjoyed using it. I do however have one complaint, it's that every time I go to use my Roku I always have to unplug it from either my TV or the wall plug to get it to work. That for me is a pain as the back of my TV is not easily accessible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love Roku

I've had a Roku 3 for a couple years and love it. I decided to buy a Roku Stick for the bedroom and love it too. I knew it wouldn't be as fast as the Roku 3, but it is faster then I thought it would be.

I originally got this because I wanted to be able to watch Netflix on my tv and my google play stick didn't work well. So happy I got the roku stick because it does more than every thing I need, and the price is great!!

Overall a great streaming product

We purchased the Roku Streaming Stick so that our kids could have the Roku 1 in their room, as the "other brand" streaming box simply didn't connect very well that far from the router, even with a high gain Cisco router. While the features are nearly identical, I like the Roku stick for two reasons. One, the smaller factor means a cleaner look and less wires, and two, the ability to use in wi-fi locations that require verification. We frequent the hospital and they recently changed their security settings so you have to accept a ToS (terms of service) and as such the Roku 1 and our other streaming box can't connect. The Roku stick can however, and this is a major plus. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the wireless remote tends to disconnect often which isn't a big deal as I use the Roku app on my phone more often than the remote. Also it and the Roku 1 lag a bit in YouTube and Netflix, however these are the only two apps that seem to have issues.

Roku stick

I am a long time roku user, I've even bought family members their own Rocky and Rocky stick. With this particular stick, it sucks and I'm so disappointed. I feel very let down.

Freezes up

I bought it awhile back, I had the little box, which worked great, but I wanted to try the streaming stick. It freezes up on Netflix all the time and when I want to use Roku I have to unplug it and restart everything. It's very annoying.
