Does the job, but it's slow

I bought this for my daughter's room after having the Roku 3 in the living room. The stick is an inferior device compared to Roku 3 in that it takes longer to boot up and you feel the lag throughout the whole. Although it's good for the kids since I believe they need to learn to WAIT ;)

Didn't work

I bought a streaming stick to replace my freezing Roku 2XS. Had to deal with an HDCP error everyday regardless of which HDMI cable I used, unless I rebooted it. Returned it and replaced it with a Chromecast. Never looked back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Honestly this changed the game for me with how I consume media. The search features are amazing. The interface is simple. It's everything I could have wanted and more.

I am an avid television watcher. My daughter and her boyfriend gave me my ROKU streaming stick for a Christmas gift this year. I hooked it up the very next day. The set-up and installation were very easy. Ever since, my wife and I have been enjoying programs which we had never seen before but always wanted to see such as the "Breaking Bad" series which was excellent. I think this was one of the best Christmas gifts that I have received in a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
