This works great but with one exception. The player sets itself up as a wireless access point so it can talk to the remote. It piggybacks on the same channel as my regular wireless router, cuts the signal strength of that wireless almost in half, and other devices start dropping off the wireless network. Not ideal. If you set your wireless to shift channels, Roku follows it. This is not exactly desired behavior and NOTHING in the Roku documentation that I have found describes this behavior. The workout is to just keep the Roku off when you're not using it. The stick does it's job beautifully -- it just doesn't play well with others LOL.
I would recommend this play but with that caveat -- keep it off or your wireless network will be sucking pond water....
I got the Roku Streaming Stick for Christmas and I love all the things I can watch. When the TV gets turned off I have to restart the Roku from the system to what h again. Or the video is blocked when I sell t somethING to watch. This happens EVERYTIME I turn the TV off or if the internet gets disconnected for any reasin.
