Cutting the cable cord!

Easy to set up, we are subscribing to Netflix and Hulu, and it will cost us less than half of what we have been paying for cable.

I have a RUKU 2 AND DECIDED TO UPDATE TO A BETTER ONE (ACCORDING TO THE HYPE). THE ONLY THING I ACCOMPLISHED WAS THAT I SAVED SOME SPACE. IT WORKS TOO.

We bought the roku stick and put it in a drawer for a couple of months. Then, we got it out and it was soooo simple to set up. The remote did give us a bit of a hassle but we got it working. We are loving all the options and the pricing is so reasonable! We finally have something we want to watch!!

Works Great!

Purchase for the bedroom as we don't have a 'smart' tv in there. Works great and just plugs into the side usb. We have a Roku box in the basement but now that I've purchased the stick would recommend it over the box - much smaller. Unless there is some feature you need on the box. We just use it to access Netflix and the like.

Easy to start, bit of a learning curve to go on

Bought this a few months ago, install was easy, but adding channels and setting up accounts does not always sync (i.e., sometimes I'm logged out of HBO Go, or channels I added online don't show up and I have to re-add). If I could fix one thing, it would be the power adapter - I didn't realize it would have to stay plugged-in, and couldn't draw power from the USB. Still a good device that is easier than streaming from my laptop!

I got this for Christmas and do love it but every time I turn my tv on I have to unplug the device and plug it back in for it to work. Otherwise it gives me a message saying I have no authorization to view the movie.
