I received this as a Christmas Present. My son in law connected everything and gave my wife and I a quick overview of the product. I have yet to turn it on. I have no idea what I am doing and am worried that I will screw something up and not know how to get out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this for Xmas and its just what I thought it would be. Easy to install, easy to use. This is my 2nd Roku, first Roku Stick.

I bought this for the master bedroom TV when I cut the cord from a paid TV service at the beginning of the year. How liberating. I made the decision when I noticed how many channels I watched on the Roku player I had previously purchased. I initially had concerns about the streaming "stick" player since my internet router was two floors below. I was so happy and surprised that the Roku Streaming Stick works perfectly! It may not be as fast according to specs as the Roku 3 on the living room TV but I don't notice a difference.
