I bought the Roku initially to view the programs from the JW.org broadcasting channel. But I also have enjoyed the Pandora music since I already have Netflix I didn't need it from Roku but you have other things in the future I also may look into further. I would like to see Acorn TV as it has some shows like " Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries" on it that I love.
Not much to say except it works exactly as advertised. Setup was very easy, including reconfiguring my Harmony Home hub and remote to allow me to interact with the Streaming Stick. I bought this device to allow me to view my Amazon Prime content on the big screen (which my Chromecast doesn't handle well). I am very happy with my purchase.
I didn't realize all the things I could do with my Roku- I can listen to music on youtube, go on Hulu, get news channels, radio channels- there's no limit to how much time I could place myself in front of it without getting bored. I really like having the remote with it because it just feels like I'm watching TV. Sometimes it lags a little but I think that's just my specific wifi causing foul.
I have had the Roku for about 2 months. I am discovering new things all of the time. So far I am thrilled. The only thing I would change is the time it takes to actually access the channels when switching from standard tv to the Roku.
