I have two Rokus at home, 3 and stick. 3 is perfect for what it has been designed whereas stick is laggy, slow and sometimes freezing. Overall the idea is great but the technology is poor.
After early problems were solved by changing physical location of the Roku, unit is very enjoyable. I ended up buying a 3' HDMI extension cord so that Roku could be moved from behind TV, solving line-of-sight issues with router. Included remote is no great shakes, but Roku app on smart phone works well. Plugging Roku into HDMI port in back of TV was total flop (problems connecting to wireless network, problems getting on line, poor picture quality, constant respooling). Buyers need to know juxtaposition of Roku and router is critical.
